When downloading the csv file under the Manage section of the study, you will be able to get select participant demographics matched up to each participant’s Connect ID. By default, all projects will have the following demographics in the csv file regardless of whether they were selected to target or not.

• Age
• Sex
• Race
• Ethnicity
• Education
• Occupation Field
• Household Income
• Relationship/Marital Status
• Gender
• Political Party
• Employment Status

Therefore, you do not need to include these questions in-survey. 

In addition to these demographics, any additional demographics you target will be included in the csv download as well. 

You will need to cross-reference the csv file we give with the demographic info to the data file you receive with participant data from your survey platform. You should merge the two so both responses and demographic info are matched up to Connect IDs in one file. 

Note: The more (additional) demographics you target, the fewer eligible participants there will be, since participants are not required to answer all demographic questions.
