Researchers have the option to pilot with a smaller N size before collecting their full sample, schedule a launch time, and set an end date (when the study stops).
How Can I Pilot?
1. Locate the study that you would like to launch and select "..." then, "Launch."
2. Select the Pilot option and input the number of participants you would like to pilot with.
3. Hit "Next" and you will see a confirmation page to ensure everything is correct. Select "Launch Now" if you are ready to launch.
What Happens After the Pilot Completes?
We will send you an email notification after the pilot completes. To continue with the full launch, you will need to navigate back to your Connect dashboard and resume the study.
Can I Launch Another Pilot after the Initial Pilot Completes?
Once a pilot has completed there is an option to select “Additional Pilot” to pilot for more participants. You can run additional pilots until the full study is complete.
After launching the next pilot, the study will become live again and show the pilot number the study is up to.
How Can I Schedule a Launch?
1. Select "Launch Time" and input the day & time you would like to launch.
2. Select "Next" which will prompt you to a confirmation page. Select "Schedule Launch" if everything is correct.
How Can I Unschedule a Launch?
Select the "..." study and then "Unschedule". If you would like to reschedule to a different day/time, select "Reschedule."
Unscheduling a launch also allows you to make edits to the study including pilot size, participant payment, end time, and much more!
How Can I Set an End Time for my Study?
1. Select "End Time" and then "Set end date" to input the day and time you would like this study to automatically stop at. You may also utilize our specific interval options when setting the auto-stop date.
2. Select "Next" which will prompt you to a confirmation page. Select the "Schedule Launch" or "Launch Now" button if everything is correct.
Once a study has been launched with a set end-time, there is no way to edit the end date. You will have to stop the study and then clone it if any updates need to be made to these settings.
