Because we are committed to high data quality, when a participant is rejected, this will affect their approval rating on Connect.
Approval ratings are based on how many tasks a participant has completed that they were approved for. For example, if a participant completed 500 projects on Connect, but were rejected for 5 of them, their approval rating would be 99%.
Participant approval ratings are not currently visible to participants; however, researchers can now use approval rating as a targeting criterion when setting up their studies. This allows you to filter for participants who meet your desired quality threshold.
In addition, due to our data quality checks and Sentry data quality tool, we ensure that only participants with strong approval ratings remain active on Connect and are eligible to take studies.
