Because we are committed to high data quality, when a participant is rejected, this will affect their approval rating on Connect.
Approval ratings are based on how many tasks a participant has completed that they were approved for. For example, if a participant completed 500 projects on Connect, but were rejected for 5 of them, their approval rating would be 99%.
At this time, participant approval ratings are not visible to participants or researchers. We also do not have the option for researchers to target by approval ratings. These features are something we look to have in the near future. Due to our data quality checks and Sentry data quality tool, we can assure you only participants with high approval ratings are active on Connect and able to take studies.
